Rendering of the 2024 Tacoma in a white color.

2024 Tacoma 4G Renderings: Overland News

Unconfirmed, but we’re drooling anyway.

We’d be psyched if these renderings actually look like Toyota’s official 2024 Tacoma. The official patent image leaked by a Brazilian patent office earlier this year looked a whole lot like the Tacoma EV they’re planning to roll out in 2025, so the team at Tacoma4G created these renderings based on information they’d been given about the new truck.

Tacoma4G also reports that the 2024 Tacoma will be powered by a 2.4L Hybrid Max i4 T24A-FTS engine. While, again, none of this has been confirmed by Toyota, there’s plenty of speculation out there that points that way.

Tacoma 4G images a beefed up Tacoma TRD Pro. Their 2024 Tacoma renderings envision an evolution of the classic Tacoma design, with, as they explain, “Sleeker, more chiseled modern appearance all around without sacrificing the tough, no-frills, work truck design so critical to the success of the Tacoma.” If they’re right about that, we’ll be happy campers. Literally.

In the rendering, the truck’s front end gets a facelift, bulking up and sharpening the angles. The trucks also features a redesigned grille that makes us think of the Tundra, actually. The rendered Tacoma also comes with some off-roading upgrades, including a light bar. Sharpened angles and lines are a theme that continues throughout, along the side profile, across the rear doors, and down to the fenders. The renderings also give us fresh new taillights and tailgate that match the rest of the redesign.
