TCB Ranch Kicks Off with High-Flying Pre-Runner Action

The First of Many to Come

In beautiful Temecula, California, lies an off-roader’s paradise known as TCB Ranch. This property is a fully private lot with everything you could ask for when it comes to testing, tuning, and proving your off-road rig has what it takes to handle the harsh terrain of any desert or rock course. On Saturday, Oct. 26, Doug and Sterling from Dweezy Shop rented the property and decided to have one big Southern California pre-runner meet.

Doug invited Eric Conner from Socal Suspension and his beautiful 1974 F-100 named Vivian 2.0 to help run all the demos and organize the trucks that were out there to jump and party. Eric and Doug brought out some heavy hitters in the pre-runner community to demo their trucks for all of the locals and spectators who bought a ticket to come out and support this insane meet! Drivers like Kylen Garcia, Spencer Trego, Zach Conner, Noah Quantrell, Ernest Harris, Jeff Agnew, Ruslan Yankilevich, and many more showed up in their heavily built pre-runners and put on a show for many to see!

The main straightaway of the demo course started on the bank and entered into a first jump, and then a downhill that led to a second tabletop that everyone was naming the “booter” of jumps since it shot up the highest and farthest. This jump gave the media and spectators a good view of the trucks’ capability and the confidence these drivers had behind the wheel when sending their truck off the jump. The second tabletop then led into a fast straightaway whoop section to show off the stability of the trucks’ suspension. And at the end, they would make a right hand sweeping turn that would take them back to the start to park or to go for another run down the track.

There was another option but only for the baddest of drivers and trucks. This jump was a step up that took a lot of guts to hit. When hitting it you have to be perfect—too short and you can roll or buck the truck; too far and you can land hard and hurt the truck. When done correctly, this was one of the coolest things to witness. Eric, Zach, and Ruslan were the three most seen landing this jump, and they have mastered it! Did I mention that Zach and Ruslan are only 16 years old and out here performing in their own trucks and sending it just as high (if not higher) than the older veterans of the sport? These kids bring a competitive nature on who can go bigger, but at the same time are two awesome individuals who are great to be around and showcase the future of off-road motorsports.

Outside, Doug was rushing around keeping things organized, safe, and running smoothly. He did an amazing job hosting this event and created such a widely known success. After this event I asked Doug how he felt about the event and if he will be having more of these events at TCB Ranch in the future. His response was nothing short of what I was looking for: “It went better than expected.”

The amount of support was unbelievable. The respect from everyone is not something you always experience, but this was a good gauge of what we can do in the future.

“One hundred percent we will be hosting more events at TCB Ranch,” Doug states.

Doug has a vision for TCB Ranch and its future, offering a private event space to create a more exclusive experience for off-roading brands, companies, and individuals that have the opportunity to rent out TCB Ranch for a day or weekend. This event was nothing short of incredible, with some of the top pre-runners and individuals in the off-road industry in attendance. It was filled with a lot of good people, trucks, and memories. I am excited to be at the next TCB Ranch x Dweezy meet to see what else they have in store. The media’s opportunity to capture great photos is endless from one end of the track to the other. We live for this type of action! The vendors present brought awesome merch and great food.
