Summer Adventures Await! Get Ready for Outdoor Escapades!

Can everyone say SUMMER!?! I love the warmer, longer days this time of year. I feel like it allows for so many more adventures in the back country and, of course, time on the river. Fortunately, I get to spend the summer a stone’s throw away from the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park in eastern Idaho. What’s nice is there are still so many places that are less traveled, and you can truly get away.

What are your plans for summer? Do you have any backpacking or camping trips planned? Wild overlanding adventures? Road trips with family or friends? Let us know—and send us your pictures!

Our July/August issue has a little of everything. You will find an overland fly fishing adventure, purpose built off-road rigs, and much more. You’ll meet Mad Yeti’s Sequoia—a fully outfitted and overland adventure rig. You’ll see a Kaiser built to play in the Mexican desert and a built-to-destroy rock crawler, as well as a back-country GMC designed to enjoy the outdoors.

We’ve also got some great Easter Jeep Safari coverage from Harry Wagner’s time hanging with the SkyJacker crew in Moab, and a great tech article doing a bumper install on a Toyota 4Runner.

And don’t forget about all our great departments, including Made the Cut, Outfitted, and Gear Box. They each feature the latest accessories you need when you’re out on the road (or trail).

Thank you all for being a part of the TREAD community! If you have some amazing trip pics to share, go to Tread.com to upload photos, memorable moments, and more! Now GET OUTSIDE and have an adventure!

Happy trails,
Devan Ence
