Product Spotlight: ARB Element

Vehicle-mounted fridges have one fatal flaw, they are relatively delicate. There are many brands of fridges available, but only a handful are hearty enough to be permanently mounted outside, exposed to the elements.

ARB recognized this flaw and developed their Elements Weatherproof fridge/freeze. It is constructed of stainless steel, and features a fully weatherproof exterior. It has been designed specifically to withstand 365 days a year of being mounted in the bed of a pickup truck, and at 63 quarts, it is well-suited to carry a plethora of perishables for your adventures off the beaten path.

In addition to its stainless body and weatherproof exterior, ARB revised and updated its design of fridges and included a gas strut-assisted lid for one-handed operation and safety features, like a 4-digit pin lock, to ensure that your temperature range is not tampered with nor your precious beverages thieved.

Other features are heavy-duty, cast stainless steel hinges, tamper-proof bolts for permanent mounting, a padlock provision for added security, backlit LED display with ad dimming function, reversible cabinet baskets, drain plug, rubber feet and a built in three-stage battery protection. It can cool from -0˚ F to +60˚ F and operate in ambient temperatures up to +109˚ F. It weighs in at a reasonable 70 lbs and operates on 12/24v DC or 100-240v AC.

MSRP is at $1289.00. Learn more at arbusa.com or your local retailer.
