New Adventures Ahead

Putting together a magazine with plenty of relevant content for the readers to enjoy is always a big undertaking. Rounding up the best feature vehicles from the best photographers, getting the best event coverage, and finding the newest parts for the various sections takes time. Fortunately, I am not new to the editor role. I have helmed one of our sister publications, Street Trucks magazine, for the last year, but I was a freelancer for 20-plus years before that. So, when the task of taking over the magazine you are currently holding came about, I jumped on it.

We have several cool Toyota builds for you to read about in this issue, from overland to desert style, to even a little rock crawler flair. You’ll also find several pages on the infamous King of the Hammers event, which is one of the top off-road events in the world. But who am I telling? If you’re reading this, you obviously know what it is, or you wouldn’t be reading this editorial. We even had the team put together a huge Toyota parts section to show you some of the newest gear to push your rig to the next level.

Until the next issue, get out there and build your Toyota to fit your needs and plans. Go hit the trails and off-grid campgrounds so you can sit back and chat with your fellow off-road enthusiast friends. It’s the camaraderie between us like-minded, Toyota-passionate people that keep our industry moving forward. Load up the kids and let them see what it’s all about as well. They are the future of our industry, so showing them at a young age will keep this going forever!

Happy trails,
