Be A Responsible Rider With BRP & Tread Lightly: Overland News

Tread Lightly and BRP are teaming up to educate more responsible UTV riders.

If you spend your free time ripping it up in an vehicle, you’re likely already familiar with BRP. And if you care about our Earth, then we bet you know Tread Lightly well, too. With their new collaboration, BRP and Tread Lightly are teaming up to raise awareness for safe and sustainable riding practices. Check out the video below to get a head start on the mission.

Ride Partnership

This partnership between BRP and Tread Lightly will last for three years. It also includes RideSafe, a company whose mission is to eliminate powersports injuries and fatalities through safety education. With three companies who have plenty of practice keeping people (and the Earth) safe, this collaboration is sure to save lives and keep the environment safe.

In the next three years, the brands have made a commitment to educating young riders and their families on responsible ridership. To accomplish this mission, Hubert Roland and his team will visit 15 schools in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Tennessee, Arizona, Utah, Florida, Texas, and West Virginia.

Be a Responsible Rider

“The Responsible Rider program was born out of our deeply held belief that we can set the tone for the whole industry by rethinking how we approach the way we ride. We are taking bold steps to encourage all riders to ride responsibly, starting with impactful partnerships. We are thrilled to team up with Tread Lightly! and RideSafe to drive positive change and ensure our next ride is as good as the last,” says Anne-Marie LaBerge, Chief Marketing Officer at BRP.

“In the past few years, we have seen rapid growth in motorized recreation all over the US. Tread Lightly! has heard regularly about the need to better educate these enthusiasts on how to be respectful and responsible,” says Matt Caldwell, Executive Director, Tread Lightly!. “This partnership with BRP provides every enthusiast with the tools to ‘do your part’ to ‘protect the fun’.”
