All-Terrain Trail Bike: Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper

Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper

One of the latest elite trail bike offerings is the S-Works Stumpjumper by Specialized. This legendary bicycle manufacturer knows a thing or two about bicycles, and it’s safe to say that it went all out when it designed the all-new S-Works Stumpjumper.

After a long, hard crawl on the trail in your rig, you arrive at your campsite, park your truck in a prime location, set up camp, and start exploring the area. You first reconnoiter the area on foot. But, in order to quickly cover more ground, you elect to jump on the bicycle you brought along.

Once you’re on it, you go farther than you anticipated. That’s to be expected! An all-terrain trail bike is not only great for exploring the backcountry, it’s also a fun way to enjoy the great outdoors.

The Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper

The newest version of the Specialized trail bike is built for downhill agility, powerful climbing, and overall lightness. Thanks to a ground-up suspension redesign by Specialized’s engineers and the lightest-in-class frame weight, the S-Works Stumpjumper feels as if it’s part of your body when you’re hard at work cranking on it.

One of the secrets to Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper’s performance prowess is the progressive geometry designed and built into it. The bike is long and low. It features a short, offset fork and a steep seat-tube angle. Along with 130mm of suspension travel, these features combine to make the ride more stable, more agile and more comfortable when climbing.

Whether you’re leisurely riding around the campsite or decide to hit it hard and go downhill at speed, you’ll need a go-anywhere bike that’s ready when you are. And, if you’re looking for a trail bike that can handle business both on and off the trail, we recommend taking a good look at the Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper.

However, before you rush out to your local bicycle shop, check out a few of the Stumpjumper’s many innovative technical highlights above.

The Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper includes a beefy red and black framd and beefy mountain bike tires.
